Brinda Karat Criticizes Raids on Jharkhand CM’s Aide Before Elections
In Ranchi, Jharkhand, CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat expressed her disapproval of the recent raids on Sunil Srivastava, a close aide of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The raids took place just days before the assembly elections, where the JMM, in alliance with Congress, RJD, and left parties, is competing against the BJP-led NDA alliance. The elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with results to be announced on November 23.
