Brawl in Mayur Vihar and Arrest of Wanted Criminal Ravi in Delhi
An incident of a brawl was reported near a mall in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar on August 27. One person, Shoaib, was injured during the quarrel. The police received information about the incident and later from a hospital about an assault. A case has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Arms Act, and further investigation is in progress.
Meanwhile, a firing incident took place at a cafe in Satya Niketan and another at a jewelry store in Mukherjee Nagar. The miscreants fled on a motorcycle after firing.
In another development, Delhi police arrested Ravi, a man wanted in 7 criminal cases, including 3 murders, after a brief exchange of fire in Gokalpuri. Ravi, 42, had allegedly murdered Neeraj Arora on August 24. The police team, led by Inspector Praveen Kumar, had been tracking Ravi since the murder.
