Two policemen were injured in an ambush by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists at a checkpost in Mianwali, Pakistan. The attack, involving rocket launchers and hand grenades, was repelled by alert Punjab police officers. The attackers escaped, and a search operation is ongoing.

Punjab’s Inspector General, Dr. Usman Anwar, praised the officers for thwarting the attack, marking the ninth such foiled attempt in recent months.
