Blast Outside CRPF School in Rohini: Investigation Underway
In New Delhi, a blast occurred outside the CRPF school in Prashant Vihar, Rohini, prompting an investigation by the Central Reserve Police Force, National Investigation Agency, and Delhi Police. Pradeep Gupta, Vice Chairman of the Parents Teacher Association (PTA), expressed hope that normalcy would return after the investigation. He noted that the incident has left students scared, even though it happened during a holiday.
Deepak Jain, another PTA member, mentioned that some parents have stopped sending their children to school due to the tense environment. The Delhi Police have seized CCTV footage showing a suspect near the blast site. The explosive was hidden in a pit and covered with garbage, causing damage to nearby vehicles and properties but no injuries.
An FIR has been filed under various sections, and the area has been cordoned off for further investigation. The school caters to students from CRPF and other paramilitary families. In response, Delhi is on high alert with increased security in markets ahead of Diwali.
