Blast at Swabi Police Station in Pakistan: Two Killed and Several Injured
A tragic incident occurred at the Swabi police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, where a blast resulted in the deaths of two people and left several others injured. The explosion took place in the warehouse room of the police station, which stored a large quantity of explosive material recovered from terrorists.
According to District Police Officer Haroon Rasheed, the blast was apparently triggered by a short circuit, causing multiple detonations. Rescue and firefighting teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a nearby medical facility. Unfortunately, despite receiving treatment, one of the victims succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has taken notice of the incident and has ordered the inspector general and chief secretary to immediately reach the Swabi police station to investigate the matter.
