BJYM Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is set to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with nationwide tributes celebrating the bravery of Indian soldiers. On July 26, 1999, the Indian Army achieved a significant victory over Pakistan in the Kargil conflict, reclaiming the nation’s sovereignty with immense courage and sacrifice.

Nationwide Mashal Rally

Under the leadership of BJYM National President Tejasvi Surya, a grand Mashal Rally will take place on July 25 in every organisational district. Each rally will start from symbolic sites such as the homes of Kargil martyrs, Kargil veterans, and war memorials, and will involve at least 2,500 young participants per district. The rally will end with the lighting of a ‘Vijay Deep’ at a prominent location, which will remain lit for 25 hours to honor the soldiers’ sacrifices.

BJP National President JP Nadda will join the Mashal Rally at India Gate in New Delhi alongside Tejasvi Surya. The celebrations will culminate in a public program on the evening of July 26 at the ‘Vijay Deep’ location, where Kargil veterans will be honored. The event will feature cultural performances and motivational speeches by retired army officers and prominent public figures, celebrating patriotism and valor.

Tejasvi Surya has urged all BJYM members to organize these events with dedication and respect as a tribute to the Indian Army’s valor. He emphasized that Kargil Vijay Diwas is a day of immense pride for the country and that these celebrations will inspire nationalism among the youth and foster gratitude towards the armed forces. Several cabinet ministers will also participate in the events, honoring the memories of the Kargil heroes.
