BJP’s Shaina NC Thanks Central Government for Big Funds to Maharashtra Metros
BJP leader Shaina NC expressed her gratitude to the Central Government for allocating significant funds to improve infrastructure in Maharashtra. She highlighted that the Mumbai Metro will receive Rs. 1087 crore and the Nagpur Metro will get Rs. 683 crore. Additionally, Rs. 908 crores have been allocated for MUTP-3 to expand Mumbai’s local railway network, Rs. 500 crores for the Mumbai-Delhi corridor, Rs. 150 crores for MMR green urban transport, and Rs. 814 crores for the Pune Metro.
Shaina NC emphasized that the Union budget has provided substantial benefits to Maharashtra and criticized those spreading false information about the budget. She expressed her gratitude towards Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the allocations.
In a related note, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav thanked the Central Government for allocating Rs. 14,738 crores to enhance rail facilities in his state. He acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, noting that the development of 80 railway stations is underway with a sanctioned amount of Rs. 81,000 crores.
