BJP’s Pradeep Bhandari Criticizes Congress After Bengaluru Building Collapse

In New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government following a tragic building collapse in Bengaluru. The incident resulted in the loss of lives, and Bhandari accused the government of corruption and negligence. He stated that the government, including leaders Siddaramaiah, D.K. Shivakumar, and Kharge, is more focused on exploiting land than caring for citizens.

Bhandari described the situation as misgovernance, equating the incident to murder due to the loss of innocent lives. He questioned how unauthorized construction could occur without government awareness, especially after three lives were lost. Bhandari urged the government to take responsibility, emphasizing that accountability lies with the chief minister of Karnataka.

Earlier, five bodies were recovered, and five people were injured after the building collapsed in the Horamavu Agara area amid heavy rain. The deceased were identified as Harman, Tripal, Mohd Sahil, Sathya Raju, and Shankar. The injured, including Jagadevi, Rasheed, Nagaraju, Ramesh Kumar, Harman, and Ayaj, are receiving treatment at local hospitals. Rescue teams from the NDRF and SDRF are continuing their search efforts at the site.
