BJP’s Pradeep Bhandari Confident of NDA’s Win in Maharashtra and Jharkhand Elections
Pradeep Bhandari, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) victory in the upcoming elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. He highlighted the significance of conducting single-phase elections in Maharashtra, indicating a robust internal security system. Bhandari stated that opposition parties like Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) have acknowledged their lack of public support in Maharashtra. The Election Commission, led by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, announced bypolls for 48 assembly constituencies, including nine seats in Uttar Pradesh and the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. The assembly polls in Maharashtra and Jharkhand are scheduled for November, with Maharashtra voting on November 20 and Jharkhand in two phases on November 13 and 20. Results will be declared on November 23. The bypolls will occur across 15 states, with the highest number in Uttar Pradesh.
