BJP’s Nishikant Dubey Confident of Victory in Jharkhand Elections
In Deoghar, Jharkhand, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey expressed confidence that the BJP-led NDA alliance will win the Jharkhand Assembly elections with a two-thirds majority. He praised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for their efforts in the campaign.
Dubey highlighted the strengths of the BJP, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, as well as the party’s dedicated workers. He noted that Sarma and Chouhan have been instrumental in the campaign, with Sarma known for his quick decision-making.
On the other hand, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir expressed confidence in the ruling JMM-Congress coalition’s victory, citing the positive impact of their women-centric programs. He pointed out that more women voted than men in the first phase, indicating support for the coalition’s initiatives.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma assured that if the BJP and its allies, including the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), are voted to power, they will govern the state effectively. The NDA alliance, comprising AJSU, BJP, JDU, and LJP, is contesting the elections together.
The second phase of the Jharkhand elections is scheduled for November 20, with the first phase having concluded on November 13. The vote counting will take place on November 23.
