In Mumbai, BJP leader Vinay Sahasrabuddhe announced the party’s new manifesto, the ‘Sankalp Patra’, which aims to address the needs of every section of society. The manifesto includes 25 promises, focusing on senior citizens, women, and farmers. Sahasrabuddhe emphasized the manifesto’s thorough preparation, involving suggestions from the public and analysis by 18 committees.

Key Promises

The manifesto, unveiled by Amit Shah and other leaders, includes a monthly payment of Rs 2,100 to women, a loan waiver of up to Rs 15,000 for farmers, and a 20% subsidy on MSP. It also promises to stabilize prices of essential goods and reduce electricity bills.

Support for Senior Citizens

The BJP plans to introduce policies for senior citizens, including Aadhar-enabled services and dedicated outpatient departments. Sahasrabuddhe highlighted the innovative approach to cater to the large number of senior citizens in India.

Anti-Conversion Law

Addressing the issue of forcible conversions, Sahasrabuddhe mentioned the need for stricter laws to prevent such incidents, aligning with the Constitution’s stance against forcible conversions.

Additional Initiatives

The manifesto also promises free food grains for low-income families, health cards for youth, interest-free loans for entrepreneurs, and rural development through road construction in 45,000 villages.
