BJP’s Concerns Over Infiltrators in Jharkhand

Naveen Subhash’s Allegations

Naveen Subhash, a spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has raised concerns about the situation in Jharkhand. He claims that tribal women in the state are being targeted by infiltrators, particularly from Bangladesh and among the Rohingyas. Subhash describes Jharkhand as a ‘hub of terrorist activities’ and highlights the vulnerability of the tribal population, which makes up a significant portion of the state’s 4.8 crore people.

Amit Shah’s Promises

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also addressed the issue, promising that if the BJP comes to power, they will remove infiltrators and enact laws to return land to the tribal people. Shah criticized the current state government, led by Hemant Soren, for not focusing on industrial development and instead allowing infiltrators to enter the state.

Upcoming Elections

The Jharkhand Assembly elections are taking place in two phases. The first phase occurred on November 13, covering 43 constituencies, and the second phase is scheduled for November 20, with the vote counting set for November 23.
