BJP’s Kuldeep Raj Dubey on Article 370 and Security in Jammu and Kashmir
BJP candidate from Reasi Assembly Constituency, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, stated that since the BJP government came to power and the abrogation of Article 370, militancy in Jammu and Kashmir has been nearly eradicated. He emphasized that security forces are effectively countering the remaining terrorists and highlighted the increase in tourism and decrease in unemployment since 2019.
Thakur Randhir Singh, BJP candidate from Kalakote-Sunderbani, criticized Pakistan for recent terrorist activities aimed at disrupting the upcoming elections. He condemned these acts as attempts to disturb the region and harm the youth.
Earlier, Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar, Army Commander Northern Command, along with Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, visited forward areas along the line of control in Sunderbani Sector to review the security situation. They were briefed on the coordination between security forces and operational preparedness. The Army Commander also visited supporting units and troops in the hinterland, commending their high morale and professionalism.
