BJP MP Jagadish Shettar has voiced strong confidence in his party’s ability to win the by-elections in the Sandur, Shiggaon, and Channapatna assembly constituencies. He attributes this optimism to the declining image of the current government due to various scandals.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy, is contesting from the Channapatna seat. He is hopeful that the people will support him, citing the contributions of his family to the district. His father, HD Kumaraswamy, also expressed confidence in the JD(S)-NDA alliance’s victory in all three seats.

The by-elections are set for November 13, with results to be announced on November 23. Nikhil Kumaraswamy will face Congress candidate CP Yogeshwara in Channapatna.
