This announcement was made by BJP leader Sambit Patra during a meeting led by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Patra recalled that a similar drive in 2014-15, led by Amit Shah, added around 11 crore members. Another segment in 2019 added 7 crore more, totaling 18 crore members between 2014 and 2019. The pandemic delayed further drives, but the process is now restarting.

Senior leaders will visit different states, and the campaign will reach down to the booth level.
