BJP’s Ajay Alok Criticizes Arvind Kejriwal and AAP in Delhi
BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok criticized former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of failing to fulfill promises to the people of Delhi. Alok highlighted issues like the unclean Yamuna river and water-logging.
Alok said, “Their acts are like Shumbha Nishumbha but they compare themselves to Laxman. They have destroyed Delhi, the people are suffering from the heat and are not getting drinking water. During rains, there were such floods that forty-five people drowned in the drains.”
He called AAP a ‘great sinner party’ and accused Kejriwal of corruption. Alok added, “He used to say, I swear on my kids that I will not contest elections, give me power for two days I will put Sonia Gandhi in jail, where is all that now? He changed completely. From head to toe he is covered in corruption, when the election comes, he will understand his place.”
Meanwhile, AAP leader Atishi assumed charge as the new Chief Minister of Delhi after Kejriwal’s resignation and release on bail in the excise policy case. Atishi took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on September 22.
