BJP Secures Majority in Haryana Assembly Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won a majority in the Haryana Assembly elections, securing 48 out of 90 seats. This victory marks the party’s third consecutive government in the state. BJP leader Smriti Irani attributed this success to the development work led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Election Results in Haryana

The BJP achieved an absolute majority with 48 seats, while the Congress party secured 37 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) won 2 seats, and Independent candidates claimed 3 seats. Results for 89 out of 90 seats have been declared, with one still being counted.

Peaceful Elections in Jammu and Kashmir

Smriti Irani also commented on the peaceful conduct of elections in Jammu and Kashmir, expressing pride in the democratic process. The National Conference and Congress alliance won a majority with 48 seats, while the BJP secured 29 seats. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won 3 seats, and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won from the Handwara constituency.
