BJP Questions Congress-NC Alliance: Amit Shah Asks Rahul Gandhi 10 Questions

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a nationwide press conference on August 24 to question Congress’s alliance with the National Conference (NC). Union Home Minister Amit Shah has posed 10 questions to Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party regarding their stance on key issues in the NC’s poll manifesto.

According to a party source, the press conference will address concerns about the safety and security of the country, including Jammu and Kashmir. The same 10 questions that Amit Shah asked will be raised during the conference.

Earlier, Amit Shah criticized the Congress party over its alliance with the NC for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. He questioned whether Rahul Gandhi supports the JKNC manifesto, which calls for abolishing reservations for Dalits, Gujjars, Bakerwals, and Pahadis.

On Thursday, Congress and the NC announced a pre-poll alliance, with seat-sharing talks currently underway. The announcement was made after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge met NC chief Farooq Abdullah. Farooq Abdullah stated that the Congress-NC would fight for all 90 seats in the assembly polls.

The assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, with results announced on October 4. This will be the first assembly poll in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.
