New Delhi [India], July 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing events across India to inform the public about the Union Budget 2024-25. This comes in response to opposition parties’ claims that the budget is ‘discriminatory.’

Nationwide Programmes

The BJP will hold programmes on Saturday and Sunday, where Union Ministers and national office bearers will visit key locations to discuss the budget’s features and benefits. Members of Parliament will visit every district to hold discussions.

Intellectual Conference

An intellectual conference will be organized, inviting people from the PHD Chamber of Commerce. According to BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, the programmes will highlight the budget’s benefits for the poor, farmers, SC-STs, and MSME employees.

Social Media Campaign

State units have been asked to designate an office-bearer and submit a report after the campaign. Leaders are also encouraged to share budget highlights on their social media accounts.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized the opposition for their remarks on the budget, calling it a ‘historical budget’ with ambitious goals. Rijiju urged for a meaningful discussion on the budget during the parliamentary session.

BJP Meetings

A two-day meeting of BJP’s organization ministers will start on Thursday to review Lok Sabha election results and prepare a new strategy for voter outreach. Following this, a meeting of chief ministers of BJP-ruled states and state presidents will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
