BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Calls for Probe into NEET 2024 Paper Leak

Amid growing concerns over the NEET 2024 paper leak, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has urged authorities to investigate the matter. Speaking to the media, Dubey emphasized the need for a thorough probe, noting that the leak raises significant questions about the examination process.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken up the case and registered an FIR. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the NEET-UG exams, is under scrutiny for alleged irregularities, cheating, and malpractices. The Ministry of Education has formed a high-level committee led by former ISRO chairman Dr. K Radhakrishnan to recommend reforms in the examination process and data security protocols.

The government has enacted the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, to prevent unfair practices in public exams. The Ministry of Education is committed to ensuring the integrity of examinations and protecting students’ interests. Any individual or organization found involved in malpractices will face strict action.

The NTA is facing criticism and protests across the country, with many demanding its disbandment. An unprecedented 67 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720 out of 720, adding to the concerns. The high-level committee will submit its report in the next two months.
