In Deoghar, Jharkhand, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused the Hemant Soren government of encouraging Bangladeshi intrusion for vote bank politics. Dubey warned that if action is not taken, tribal communities might disappear. He stated, “There is Bangladeshi intrusion everywhere and Hemant Soren Government is promoting it out of vote bank politics. If we don’t wake up now, tribals would cease to exist.”

Support from Assam Chief Minister

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, also BJP Jharkhand co-in-charge, criticized the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for allegedly supporting infiltrators. He suggested that parties supporting such activities should have their registrations canceled.

Political Shifts

Mandal Murmu, who previously supported Hemant Soren’s nomination, has joined the BJP. Murmu expressed his commitment to addressing demographic changes in Santhal Pargana, honoring his ancestors who fought for the nation.

Upcoming Elections

The Jharkhand Assembly elections are scheduled for November 13 and 20, with results to be announced on November 23. Over 2.6 crore voters, including first-time and young voters, are eligible to participate. In the previous elections, JMM, BJP, and Congress had varying successes.
