BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Responds to AAP’s Kidnapping Allegations

New Delhi, India – BJP MP Manoj Tiwari addressed the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) claims that their leader, Ram Chandra, was kidnapped. Tiwari stated that AAP often makes such allegations and then retreats. He assured that if the allegations are true, action will be taken against the guilty party.

Tiwari said, “It does not seem possible, but if it is, they should file their complaint. We will investigate, and if someone is found guilty, action will be taken.” He added that AAP is trying to create a sensation because they are upset.

BJP Delhi President’s Statement

BJP Delhi President Virendraa Sachdeva called AAP’s allegations a “circus” and demanded that the Delhi Police interrogate Ram Chandra. Sachdeva questioned the details of the alleged kidnapping and called for legal action against Chandra for fabricating the story.

AAP’s Allegations

Earlier, AAP accused the BJP of kidnapping Ram Chandra, a councillor from Bawana’s Shahabad Dairy. Chandra, who had recently switched from AAP to BJP and then back to AAP, claimed in a video that he was forcibly taken by BJP men and threatened with CBI and ED actions.

In a video message, Chandra said, “I am a municipal councillor from Bawana Ward 28. In the morning, five or six people came to my house and took me to the BJP office in a car. They threatened me with CBI and ED. After my son and a senior party leader called the police, they dropped me back.”

Reactions from AAP Leaders

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh also shared their concerns on social media, accusing BJP of threatening Chandra with CBI and ED raids. Singh shared a video of Chandra’s son, Akash, alleging that his father was forcibly taken by a local BJP leader.

BJP’s Denial

Delhi BJP’s media in-charge, Praveen Shankar Kapoor, denied any involvement, calling AAP’s claims “fake sensationalism.” Kapoor stated that Chandra is not in AAP and accused the party of spreading rumors.

Ram Chandra recently expressed regret over his decision to join BJP and returned to AAP.
