BJP MP Lahar Singh Demands Accountability in MUDA Scandal

Singh emphasized that the allegations were reflected in a High Court judgement, expressing disappointment over an officer’s alleged attempt to seize land from Scheduled Castes and transfer it to a Deputy Chief Minister’s family.
Singh criticized the officer, appointed under the Dalit quota, for not protecting the Dalit community, calling it an insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Constitution. He suggested the officer should resign and be questioned, and proposed that the investigation be handled by a different agency. Singh also mentioned that if the Chief Minister resigned, it would benefit the Congress party and politics at both state and national levels.
