BJP MP Deepak Prakash and Others Criticize Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks in Parliament

Bharatiya Janata Party MP Deepak Prakash criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in the Lok Sabha, accusing him of insulting Hindus and lacking knowledge of India’s Sanatana culture. Prakash stated, “Rahul Gandhi lacks boundaries. He has no sense or knowledge of India’s Sanatana culture… He has insulted Hindus all over the world. He should apologise.”

Earlier, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called Gandhi “immature” and said his speech was a “heap of lies.” BJP MP Kangana Ranaut also demanded an apology from Gandhi for “insulting” the Hindu religion.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw accused Gandhi of making irresponsible statements, bringing the level of politics down. This followed Gandhi’s accusations that the BJP was spreading violence and hatred, and his claim of a systematic attack on the idea of India.

During the motion of thanks for the President’s address, Gandhi alleged a full-scale assault on the idea of India, the Constitution, and those resisting the attack. He claimed that many leaders were personally attacked and some were still in jail. Gandhi also described the Hindu symbol ‘Abhayamudra’ as the symbol of the Congress party, representing fearlessness, reassurance, and safety.
