BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi Criticizes Opposition for Boycotting Waqf Bill Tour
In Kamrup, Assam, BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi expressed disappointment over opposition MPs boycotting the Joint Parliamentary Committee’s (JPC) tour regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024. Sarangi, a committee member, called the boycott “extremely unfortunate.” The JPC began its hearings in Guwahati and plans to visit Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Patna, and Lucknow over five days to gather input on the bill.
