BJP Leaders JP Nadda and Amit Shah Discuss Membership Drive in Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a meeting on Tuesday at their headquarters in Delhi to discuss the ongoing membership drive campaign, ‘Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024.’ The meeting was chaired by BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda and attended by senior leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Organization General Secretary BL Santosh.

The campaign, which started on September 2, has already crossed the 2 crore membership mark. Vinod Tawde, the campaign convenor, mentioned that state presidents from nine states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, attended the meeting.

Tawde explained that the meeting focused on improving the campaign and setting targets for reaching every section of society, including women and villages. Specific instructions were given to state units to run various campaigns, with Odisha targeting 1 crore members and Uttar Pradesh aiming for over 2 crore members.

JP Nadda urged the Bihar state president to organize several programs to boost the membership drive, including putting up hoardings and raising awareness through wall paintings. Madhya Pradesh has set a target of 2 crore memberships this year, with 41 lakh people already enrolled digitally.

Another meeting will be held next week to review the membership campaign in the remaining states.
