As the Jharkhand assembly elections approach, BJP leader Sita Soren has expressed confidence in her party’s ability to form the government and bring change to the state. Sita Soren, who is contesting from the Jamtara seat, emphasized her commitment to winning with a full majority. She criticized the current government for increasing corruption and crime, promising that the BJP will address these issues.

Sita Soren, previously a JMM MLA and the wife of Hemant Soren’s late brother, joined the BJP in March. She lost the Lok Sabha elections from Dumka to JMM’s Nalin Soren. The BJP has announced its first list of 66 candidates, including former Chief Ministers Champai Soren and Babulal Marandi. The party is contesting the elections in alliance with AJSU, JD-U, and LJP, covering 81 seats in two phases on November 13 and 20.
