Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 27: BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh has expressed his support for UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement ‘Batenge to Katenge,’ which means ‘If we divide, we will be destroyed.’ Singh emphasized the importance of staying vigilant against leaders who try to divide the nation based on caste, language, and region.

Speaking on Tuesday, Singh claimed that leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav are attempting to create divisions among people. He pointed out that one of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolutions is to remain vigilant against such divisive tactics. Singh said, ‘The CM has said ‘batoge to katoge,’ and he has given the example of Bangladesh. It’s true, as it is evident from what happened in 1947. Even today, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, the way they are trying to divide Hindus based on caste is a dangerous turn.’

Singh also criticized Rahul Gandhi for advocating a caste census while simultaneously supporting the National Conference in Jammu and Kashmir, which he claims is contradictory and divisive. He stressed the need to remain vigilant against those who try to divide people based on caste, language, and region.

Singh further asserted that the BJP government, both at the center and state levels, is capable of maintaining the unity and integrity of the country. ‘Whether it is our Prime Minister or our government, in the state and center, we are capable of handling the unity and integrity of the country, but it is also our duty to remain vigilant on the people who want to divide the country whether it is Akhilesh Yadav or Rahul Gandhi or any parties in different regions of the country,’ he said.

On August 26, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the ‘nation will be empowered only when we stay united’ and warned that ‘if we are divided, we will be destroyed.’ His comments came after the political crisis in Bangladesh, where former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee following weeks of deadly protests. The remarks were made at a rally in Agra after unveiling the statue of Rashtraveer Durgadas Rathore.

CM Yogi said, ‘Nothing can be above the nation. And the nation will be empowered only when we are united. ‘Batenge to Katenge’. You are seeing what is happening in Bangladesh. Those mistakes should not be repeated here… ‘Batenge to Katenge, Ek Rahenge to Nek Rahenge’…’
