BJP Leader Shahnawaz Hussain Condoles Deaths in Jehanabad Temple Stampede
BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain expressed his condolences for the seven people who died in a stampede at Baba Siddhanath Temple in Makhdumpur, Jehanabad district, Bihar. He mentioned that the Bihar government has announced Rs 4 lakhs compensation for the families of the deceased.
RJD MLA Kumar Krishna Mohan blamed Jehanabad’s Superintendent of Police (SP) and District Magistrate (DM) for the incident and demanded Rs 10 lakhs compensation for the victims. He criticized the local administration for their negligence and stated that the opposition was not informed about the incident.
Jehanabad DM Alankrita Pandey confirmed the incident, stating that seven people died and nine were injured in the stampede. She assured that the situation is now under control.
