BJP Leader Shahnawaz Hussain Condemns Murder of NCP’s Baba Siddique
In New Delhi, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain expressed his sorrow over the murder of senior NCP leader Baba Siddique, calling it “very sad.” Hussain emphasized that criminals will not be spared under the Shiv Sena-BJP rule. Two suspects have been arrested, while one remains at large.
BJP leader Shaina NC reiterated that the Chief Minister and Home Minister have vowed to punish those who break the law. She recalled her 2004 election against Siddique, noting the absence of personal attacks then.
Baba Siddique was shot twice in the chest and taken to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries despite efforts to save him. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit expressed shock over the incident, questioning how it could happen to someone with high-level security. He described Siddique as a successful politician and a dear friend.
