BJP Leader Sajid Yousuf Shah Optimistic About Jammu and Kashmir Elections

In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, BJP leader Sajid Yousuf Shah shared his hopes for the upcoming vote count in the region. He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strong support from the people in the valley. Shah criticized opposition parties for uniting only to gain power, despite their usual disagreements.

He highlighted the recent Legends League cricket match in Kashmir, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for bringing such events to the valley after 40 years. Shah noted the presence of international cricket stars like Chris Gayle as a sign of development and peace in the region.

The vote counting for the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Haryana, is set for October 8. The elections in the valley took place in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1. Predictions by Axis My India suggest a hung assembly, with the National Conference-Congress alliance slightly ahead of the BJP. The alliance is expected to win 35-45 seats, while the BJP may secure 24-34 seats. The majority needed to form a government is 46 seats, and no party is predicted to reach this mark.
