BJP Leader Prakash Reddy Promises Flood Relief for Telangana
BJP leader Prakash Reddy assured the people of Telangana that the Union Government will provide all possible financial assistance amid the ongoing flood situation. He mentioned that Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay visited the flood-affected areas in Khammam district and Vijayawada.
Khammam District Collector Muzammil Khan described the floods as unprecedented, not seen in the last 30 years. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting with the Union Agriculture Minister and MoS Home Affairs to discuss flood damage and relief measures. CM Reddy announced Rs 10,000 as immediate relief for affected families.
Prakash Reddy stated that while no specific figure for financial assistance has been declared, the Union Government will cover losses to railways and national highways. He emphasized that the people of Telangana will receive all necessary support to overcome the crisis.
