BJP Leader N. Ravikumar Criticizes Security Breach at Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s Event
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 15: BJP leader N. Ravikumar has criticized the Karnataka Home Department and intelligence wing following an alleged security breach during an event attended by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Ravikumar stated, “The person who ran towards the stage was coming from the VVIP gallery. This is a security failure.”
He further mentioned that this was the fourth recent security scare, citing incidents such as bomb blasts in Mangaluru and Bengaluru, and communal tensions in Mandya district. Ravikumar called for an apology from CM Siddaramaiah, stating, “This is an insult to Hindus. Even PM Narendra Modi mentioned it in his speech.”
During the event, an unidentified person ran towards the stage but was quickly stopped by security personnel, allowing the event to continue without further incident.
Earlier, on International Democracy Day, CM Siddaramaiah emphasized the government’s dedication to democracy, harmony, and secularism in Karnataka. He stated, “Together, we must remain vigilant, stand united, and continue to nurture Karnataka as a peaceful garden of all communities.”
