New Delhi, India – On September 16, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, which came after two days of statements. Tiwari remarked that no Chief Minister in India’s history has been removed from office by the court.
Speaking about the rule of law, Tiwari said, “The Constitution says that if a CM goes to jail, he should resign so that someone else from his party can take over.” He added that Kejriwal’s ego is bigger than the problems of Delhi and that his resignation is merely a drama.
Tiwari further accused Kejriwal of duping the public and claimed that his cunning nature would no longer work. He expressed confidence that in the upcoming elections, people would vote for a party that would improve Delhi’s situation.
