BJP Leader Kirit Somaiya Alleges Conspiracy in Dharavi Mosque Demolition and AIMIM Rally
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 25: BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has made serious allegations regarding the demolition of the Dharavi Mosque and an AIMIM rally led by former MP Imtiaz Jaleel. Somaiya claimed there was a conspiracy to provoke the Muslim community in Maharashtra.
Somaiya stated, “More than 10 lakh appeals were circulated regarding the demolition of Subhani Mosque, and voice mails were also circulated. Lakhs of messages were made viral on social media and letters were also sent to various places. At the same time, AIMIM’s Imtiaz Jaleel reaches Mumbai with 3000 vehicles and 12 thousand people. Who is behind this?”
He further alleged, “Information that went viral was forwarded from the mobile of a Congress leader. The arrival of so many vehicles and organisations with donations from Pakistan ISI links are also involved in this. I have given all the document proofs to the Deputy Chief Minister. It will be investigated.”
Somaiya criticized Congress and Uddhav Thackeray for engaging in what he called ‘Vote jihad’ in Maharashtra. He said, “The conspiracy of Congress and Uddhav Thackeray Sena for vote jihad in the assembly elections will soon be exposed.”
Meanwhile, on September 22, the Dharavi Police registered an FIR and arrested three persons in connection with the roadblock and attack on a BMC vehicle that had come for encroachment demolition. According to the Mumbai Police, the FIR has been registered under various sections of the BNS 2023, MP Act 1951, Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984, and Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013.
