New Delhi [India], July 14: BJP leader Amit Malviya criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of encouraging violence. Malviya linked Gandhi’s comments to an assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, suggesting similar rhetoric.

Malviya referred to a 2022 incident where PM Modi’s security was allegedly compromised in Punjab, which was then ruled by Congress. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi condemned the assassination attempt on Trump and expressed deep concerns.

Malviya shared an old clip of Gandhi attacking PM Modi and called his words insincere. He also shared a video of a US Democrat leader’s controversial statement about Trump, comparing it to Gandhi’s speeches.

Trump was attacked during a rally in Pennsylvania, where a gunman, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired shots. Trump was injured, and one attendee was killed. The FBI is investigating the incident.
