BJP Criticizes DMK Over Controversial Map of India

Chennai, Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has raised concerns over a map of India shared by the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on social media. The map allegedly excludes Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Aksai Chin, which the BJP claims is a betrayal of India’s sovereignty.

The BJP accused the DMK of aligning with anti-national values and criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. BJP leader H Raja expressed that expecting national pride from the DMK is unrealistic, given their past actions.

The BJP called for unity in condemning the DMK’s actions and demanded an apology from MK Stalin. The controversy began when the DMK’s NRI wing shared the contentious map on the social media platform X.
