BJP Criticizes Congress Over Woman’s Tragic Death in Bengaluru
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a strong criticism against the Congress-led Karnataka government following the tragic murder of a woman named Mahalakshmi in Bengaluru. Her body parts were found stored in a refrigerator, leading to public outrage.
BJP’s Accusations
The BJP claims that the law and order situation in Karnataka has deteriorated under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s leadership. The party’s official handle posted on X, stating, “Under @INCKarnataka rule, appeasement policies have led to a complete collapse of law and order. The brutal murder of Mahalakshmi by Ashraf is a clear reminder that Kannadigas are no longer safe in this Hitler-led @siddaramaiah government.”
Allegations of Vote Bank Politics
The BJP further accused Congress of opposing anti-love jihad laws to please their vote bank. They urged Congress ministers not to downplay the incident as a mere accident or prank. The BJP’s post on X also mentioned, “Balak Buddi @RahulGandhi, while you weep for Hamas terrorists, here’s something for you to consider. And this is exactly why @INCIndia opposes Anti-Love Jihad laws–to protect demons from being hanged.”
Police Investigation
Earlier, the police found the dismembered body of Mahalakshmi stored in a refrigerator in Bengaluru’s Vyalikaval area. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Bengaluru, Shekar H Tekkannavar, confirmed the victim’s identity and stated that an investigation is underway. The incident occurred near Veerana Bhavan in Malleswara, Bengaluru.
