The alliance between the BJP, AJSU, and JDU has been confirmed for the upcoming Jharkhand elections. The formal announcement will be made after Pitru Paksha. BJP will contest 68 seats, AJSU 11, and JDU 2.

Key Meeting

A meeting was held at Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s residence, attended by BJP leaders including Himanta Biswa Sarma, Sudesh Mahato, and Nishikant Dubey. The alliance and seat distribution were decided during this meeting.

Statements from Laxmikant Bajpai

BJP Jharkhand incharge Laxmikant Bajpai stated that the public wants change and a new government will be formed under BJP and NDA leadership. He criticized Hemant Soren’s government for issues like infiltration and not benefiting from central schemes.

Bajpai emphasized that after BJP comes to power, infiltration will be stopped and those already in Jharkhand will be sent back. He also mentioned that Champai Soren has joined BJP after being mistreated by Hemant Soren.

Future Plans

The chief minister candidate will be decided by the national leadership after the elections. The assembly elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra are expected to be announced next week and held in November after Diwali.
