Patna (Bihar) [India], July 27: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav for not attending the Bihar Assembly session. Sinha remarked that Tejashwi and his sister Rohini Acharya were born with a golden spoon and accused them of turning a constitutional position into a family position.

Sinha emphasized that the short session of the Bihar Assembly was useful, with many public interest issues raised. However, he lamented the absence of the Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, throughout the five-day session, describing it as a sign of a monarchical attitude.

Bihar’s second Deputy CM, Samrat Choudhary, also criticized the RJD, stating that the people of Bihar have supported the BJP by helping them win the majority of seats. He pointed out that unlike the RJD, the BJP does not have a single person remaining as party chief for decades.

Additionally, RJD leader Sunil Singh was expelled from the Legislative Council for mimicking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. JD (U) leader Neeraj Kumar defended the expulsion, stating that the Ethics Committee found Singh guilty, and the final decision rests with the Chairman of the Legislative Council.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP-led Centre of deceiving the people of Bihar by not granting ‘Special Status’ to the state. He criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for not speaking out on the issue, despite previously promising to agitate for it.
