Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary Fulfills Vow in Ayodhya

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary took off his turban and placed it in the Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya, fulfilling a vow related to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Chaudhary also took a dip in the Saryu river and offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple.

Chaudhary had vowed to wear the turban until Nitish Kumar resigned as Chief Minister and rejoined the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Nitish Kumar returned to the NDA in January, leading to the collapse of the Mahagathbandhan government.
