Bhupesh Baghel Says Haryana Ready to Vote Out BJP After 10 Years

Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, has announced that the people of Haryana are prepared to vote the BJP out of power in the upcoming elections on October 5. Baghel pointed out several issues that have caused public dissatisfaction, including the long-standing farmers’ protest, the Agniveer scheme, and widespread corruption.

Baghel emphasized that the BJP has misruled Haryana for the past decade, and the people are eager for change. He also mentioned the recent leadership shake-up within the BJP, where Nayab Singh Saini replaced long-serving Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

According to Baghel, the BJP has failed to address its achievements and is facing significant challenges from various groups, including farmers, soldiers, wrestlers, and women. He expressed confidence that the Congress party would win with an absolute majority.

Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly, with the counting of votes set to take place on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 40 seats, while Congress won 30 seats.
