Bharat Gaurav Train Flagged Off from Vijayawada for Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra

The Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra Bharat Gaurav tourist train witnessed a good response from tourists in and around Vijayawada. 124 Rail Yatris boarded the train from Vijayawada Railway Station on Saturday. The passengers were greeted with a traditional welcome, and the whole station was filled with spiritual fervor.

This is the second Bharat Gaurav Train originating from Andhra Pradesh and the 23rd from the South Zone. Vavilapalli Rambabu, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway, flagged off the train at Vijayawada railway station.

The train will cover famous Jyotirlinga destinations in the northern and western parts of the country, providing boarding and deboarding facilities at seven important enroute stations in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra. These stations include Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Dornakal, Mahbubabad, Kamareddi, Bhongir, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Mudhked, Nanded, and Purna.

The train will visit important pilgrim places like Ujjain (Mahakaleswar & Omkareshwar), Dwaraka (Dwarakadish Temple and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga), Somnath, Nasik (Triambakeshwar), Pune (Bhima Shankar), and Aurangabad (Grishneswar Temple).

Addressing the media, Vavilapalli Rambabu said that the Bharat Gaurav Express is a golden opportunity for pilgrims to visit all the sacred places in one go. He expressed immense joy for flagging off the second Bharat Gaurav Train and mentioned that more Sapta Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra Specials will be planned to meet the demand of devotees.

Rambabu also highlighted that earlier trains from the zone had received huge patronage with consistent 100 percent occupancy. He presented gift hampers to passengers and wished them a memorable and safe journey. Rambabu also reviewed the catering arrangements, accommodation, and safety measures undertaken by the officials and congratulated the IRCTC officials for their excellent arrangements.
