Defeats Poland’s Wioleta Myzsor

India’s ace archer Bhajan Kaur stormed into the Round of 16 after defeating Poland’s veteran Wioleta Myzsor in the women’s individual recurve archery at the Paris Olympics. Bhajan won with a clean sweep of 6-0 in the Round of 32.

In the opening set, Bhajan scored 29 points with shots of 10, 9, and 9, while Myzsor managed only 26 points. Bhajan continued her strong performance in the second set with back-to-back 10s, taking a 4-0 lead. Myzsor’s final shot of five in the third set sealed her exit from the event.

Bhajan had earlier defeated Indonesia’s Syifa Nurafifah Kamal by 7-3 in a closely contested match. Despite a nervy start, Bhajan won the last three sets to secure her place in the Round of 32.

While Bhajan celebrated her success, Ankita Bhakat faced a different outcome. Ankita was knocked out by Myzsor, who made a comeback to win 6-4 after losing the first set. This ended Ankita’s journey in the event.
