Majumdar challenged TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee to show another similar incident in the heart of Kolkata. He was responding to Banerjee’s post on X, where Banerjee mentioned 900 rape cases across India during the protests against the RG Kar incident.

Accusations Against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

Majumdar accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of misusing state funds by hiring Kapil Sibal and 21 other lawyers to represent the state in the Supreme Court. He claimed that the government is trying to save the culprits and called for the Chief Minister’s resignation.

Incident Details

The trainee doctor was found dead in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9.
