Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has urged the International Cricket Council (ICC) to organize a bilateral Test series between India and Pakistan at a neutral venue for the World Test Championship. Pakistan is set to host the ICC Champions Trophy next year. The ICC is considering several options, including hosting the tournament in Pakistan, a hybrid model with matches in Pakistan and the UAE, or moving the entire event to Dubai, Sri Lanka, or South Africa. Pakistan has not hosted a major ICC event since the 1996 ODI World Cup.
