Basavaraj Bommai Criticizes Karnataka Government for Delays in Development Projects
Former Karnataka Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai has criticized the Karnataka state government for not cooperating with central government schemes and delaying development projects. Speaking at a felicitation ceremony for party workers and voters of the Ron Assembly constituency, Bommai highlighted several issues.
Unestablished Kendriya Vidyalaya
Bommai mentioned that seven years ago, the central government approved a Kendriya Vidyalaya (central school) in Gadag city. However, due to the apathy of local political leaders, the school was not established because of location issues.
Accusations Against State Government

Central Government’s Efforts

He emphasized the importance of fulfilling the five schemes of Modi, which include roads, rural development, education, and employment.
Future Development Plans
Bommai expressed his readiness to undertake developmental work in his constituency. He proposed converting the Ilkal to Kaiga route into a national highway and mentioned the target of constructing 3 crore houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
