Baloch Yakjehti Committee Prepares for Baloch National Gathering in Gwadar
Jhalawan [Balochistan], July 16: The Balochistan Solidarity Committee and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) are working together to prepare for the Baloch National Gathering. They visited areas in the Jhalawan region, including Khuzdar, Nal, and Sorab, to organize activities like corner meetings, wall chalking, and mobilization efforts for the Baloch Raji Machi.
In a social media post, BYC shared that an awareness event was held in Gadani, where the local community was encouraged to participate in the Baloch Raji Machi and show solidarity. A peaceful march was also conducted in Gadani’s main bazaar to invite residents to the Baloch National Gathering in Gwadar on July 28th.
Similar efforts were made in Gwadar and Kech, where local meetings, pamphlet distribution, and chalk campaigns were organized to raise awareness about the event. The BYC emphasized the need for support and cooperation, especially financial assistance, for the National Gathering.
Activist Mahrang Baloch, representing the BYC, announced the plans for the gathering and highlighted the committee’s opposition to the ongoing Baloch genocide. She pointed out various issues affecting the Baloch community, including road accidents, illnesses, drug-related problems, and economic hardships faced by farmers, laborers, and fishermen.
