Baloch National Movement Holds Rally in London Against Pakistani Atrocities

The United Kingdom chapter of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized a rally in Trafalgar Square, London, to condemn the actions of Pakistani security forces against peaceful protesters in Balochistan. The rally saw hundreds of participants, including members of the Baloch and Sindh communities living abroad.

The protest focused on the atrocities committed during the Baloch Raji Muchi, which resulted in the deaths of three protesters, numerous injuries, and widespread suffering. The demonstrators highlighted incidents of enforced disappearances of Baloch Youth Council (BYC) workers and ongoing road blockades by Pakistani security forces.

Participants demanded an end to the Gwadar siege and justice for victims of state-backed terrorism. They called on the international community to take action against human rights violations in Balochistan. Rally organizers condemned the Pakistani security forces’ actions and urged the lifting of the Pakistani army’s control over Gwadar to prevent a humanitarian crisis.

Manzoor Baloch, president of the BNM UK chapter, praised the leadership and resilience of Baloch women in their fight for national rights. He highlighted the significant role of Baloch mothers and sisters in standing up for Balochistan. Female activist Gul Raisani also addressed the protestors, emphasizing solidarity with the victims of state violence and criticizing the Gwadar blockade and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
