Babulal Marandi Accuses Jharkhand Government of Coal Scam
Babulal Marandi, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand, has accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led government of being involved in a coal scam in Dhanbad. He claims that all records have been broken and new ones created, demanding an investigation into the matter. Marandi welcomed the Jharkhand High Court’s decision to order a CBI investigation into the scam, criticizing Chief Minister Hemant Soren for appointing a corrupt official in Dhanbad, which allegedly led to a financial loss for the government.
